Summary

  The Tinkerer buils the Acidroid and hires it out to the underworld to level a city block. Stacey calls Cable to the hospital to see a homeless woman who got caught in the wreckage. They go to the site; there is a blackout; and another building collapses. Cable attacks the Acidroid, gets sprayed with acid, and loses his quarry.

  Ozymandias takes Blaquesmith to Egypt and Morocco, to see his prophecies about Cable's final battle with Apocalypse. He says "the Twelve" are humanity's only hope.

  Cable attacks the Acidoid while it is destroying the foundation of another building; he keeps it standing with his TK and destroys the robot.

  Rachel appears and implants knowledge of his destiny in his head.

  The thugs who hired the Tinkerer beat him up. The Harbinger of Apocalypse (see iss. 50) hovers over Manhattan.
