Summary
Note: this issue is part of the Apocalypse: the Twelve cross-over.
Stacey and Irene wait anxiously for word from Cable. He is Apocalypse's captive, along with the rest of the Twelve, held in dampening bubbles.
A flash of light, then Cable and Scott find themselves in a huge graveyard from the future - Cable's past failures. Shift to a younger Cable, holding Aliya, recently killed in battle. Shift to a younger Cable, missing his foster parents after they returned to their own time (The Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix, 1994). Scott pulls him back from despair, hugs him, and disappears.
Cable sees the house in Alaska, and finds Madelyne holding Scott captive. She had pulled them into the psionic plane in response to Cable's subconscious desire to put things right with his parents. She offers to escape to the psi-plane with him, but he has a world to save.
