Claws along the Mohawk

Summary

Arriving onto Muir Island, Albert, Bloodscream, and Elsie Dee were hoping to find Logan there, but all they find is a devastating island. Albert does a long range scan, and could not locate Logan anywhere on the planet, unless he was shielded (which he was in Tibet). Elsie Dee makes a comment about how this was similar to Logan being hidden in the past, and Bloodscream finally asks her about what her adventure was in the past.

Elsie Dee tells Bloodscream about her adventure in the past with Albert and the Hunter in Darkness. Spiral, after trading them for their souped-up cruise missle, had sent them back into time and the three had found themselves in the middle of a battle between two indian tribes. They find themselves fighting the indians too until the invading tribe retreats. Just then, the three discovers that Forge was at this campsite. Forge tells them how he and Logan had came back in time from a future ten years past their present to stop a being known as the Adversary who was doing actions in the past that was jeopardizing their present.

In a different part of the woods, an injured member of the invading tribe, Man-killer Wolf, finds himself dying, but is revived by the mystic Adversary who takes over his body to attack Forge. Immediately afterwards, back at the tribe where Forge is, Forge is attacked, while Wolverine fights him off. The two (Forge and Wolverine) manages to take him out. Man-killer Wolf retreats off to the waterfall with Forge and Wolverine giving chase. Wolverine asks Elsie Dee to look after the tribe for them while they are gone.

After they left, Albert realizes how the indians in this tribe were going to run them through the Gauntlet: a type of test of strength of body and mind. Albert easily passes through the Gauntlet (being a cyborg and all), and as a result, he assumes the role of War Chief of the Siksika tribe. Just then, a distant explosion is heard, and Elsie Dee, Albert, and the Hunter in Darkness goes to investigate.

Arriving there, the three finds that Forge, Logan, and Adversary was gone. Albert's sensor indicated how it was a temporal displacement explosion that they saw, and that they could have disappeared to any part of time now.

Back to the present where Albert had just managed to locate the whereabouts of Wolverine in Tibet. The three board the Stealth bomber and departs for there.

In a future timeline, Wolverine is fighting a robot while wearing a metal armor. Forge shows up and comments on how he thought Logan had died when they fought against the Adversary. Logan tells him how when the Adversary set off that temporal displacement, somehow, Logan got ejected from the time vortex about ten years into the future from the time they had left Elsie Dee and Albert. In a box, Elsie Dee can be heard commenting how she finally figured out why Logan had disappeared into their future then and died. Opening the box, all that we see is Elsie Dee's head talking about some time travel concept with Forge clearing it for her. (Don't ask me to word it out: you'll just have to read it for yourself. =) ) They all leave on a futuristic helicopter, with Albert still alive as one of Forge's soldiers and Elsie Dee asking if Forge could help her make a new body.
