  The Brotherhood attack the X-Men. Copycatimpersonates the Scarlet Witch to distractQuicksilver, but Dazzler rescues him. Box reprogramsthe Sentinels to attack the X-Men. Storm useslightning to delay them, but they are still needed toevacuate the humans. Sean goes alone after the Madribut finds him dead at the door of his aircraft. Abysskilled him for his failure, and he shows Sean he hasJeremy inside him, hostage. He tells Sean to sendQuicksilver to him. His girlfriend Storm backs him up.They enter the ship and find the boy catatonic.Quicksilver punches out Abyss, then twists hisribbon-like body, making him fall endlessly intohimself. They return the boy to his parents, and learnthat the Sentinel directive to protect humans hasovercome their aversion to mutants.
