Summary

  Sinister won't allow Malice to kill Lorna, one of his "pawns." He sics the Nasty Boys on her.

  Val, Guido, and Rahne arrive. Sinister knocks Guido down with a tap and is unable to convince them that the Nasty Boys are really attacking Malice, not Alex, so they fight. Lorna wakes and stops them. Malice in Alex explodes, knocking all down. Lorna, in desperation, attacks Alex. Sinister tells Malice to leave Alex's body and possess Lorna. Lorna agrees to this, to save Alex, but Alex's consciousness fights the process, to save Lorna. Malice, unable to possess either, screams. Sinister plucks the incorporeal being away and crushes her choker, destroying her. He disappears with the Nasty Boys, promising to always take an interest in the Summers family.

  Meanwhile, back in Washington, someone very much like Jamie Madrox enters X-Factor headquarters, but finds no one there. He is shocked to see an old picture of Jamie as a member of the team.
