Summary

  Guido, at Dulles trying to get to a Lila Cheney concert, finds the Blob hijacking a plane, and intervenes. They wind up on a luggage cart, barreling toward a fuel truck, which they are almost able to avoid. Blob catches the front wheel of a 747, breaks through the floorboards, and demands to be taken to St. Croix.

  In the Shi'ar danger room, the team practices detecting Mystique, when they hear the news and rush off to Dulles.

  Guido, meanwhile, has been dropped through five stories of control tower and nearly run over by the 747, which he brakes before it crashes. (While doing so, he feels a pressure in his chest.) He and Blob duke it out some more; Guido lifts him and the ground under him, exposing wires; the fuel truck explodes; Guido drags Blob away from the flames; and X-Factor arrives in time to remand Blob to the police and pick an exhausted Guido up off the tarmac.
