Summary

  Forge replays Mystique's presumed suicide (X-Men Unlimited 4) from Rogue's memory. He thinks she was faking insanity and survived, and that Rogue perhaps wants to protect her (she is her foster mother).

  Nick Fury has video proving Mystique is alive and is in contact with Avalanche, whom Guido and Alex then try, and fail, to apprehend.

  Mystique is suspected of wanting to kill Legion as revenge for the murder of Destiny (Uncanny X-Men 255).

  X-Factor go to Legion's hospital in Tel Aviv, but Mystique morphs to Gabrielle's form and is about to inject Legion with curare, when he wakes up, quite able to defend himself.
