Summary

  A sheriff is tracking "killer" mutants through the woods with dogs. X-Factor arrives, and tells the sheriff this is now a federal matter, but they are restless, seeing themselves turned into government hounds.

  Harper warns Creed to follow orders, or else.

  Shard is now an independent photon-based life form (since Uncanny X-Men ‘96 Annual).

  X-Factor tracks the mutants to a town and captures each of them, who turn out to be Jamie (thought dead since iss. 100, last seen iss. 111).
