Summary
Val is angry at Forge for not turning the prisoner over to her. Forge is angry at Val for sending them to hunt down Jamie, but she didn't know. She tells them they will be arrested if they don't turn Jamie over, and Mystique therefore has to impersonate him, since he is really being held in a safe house by Kyle and Shard.
Mystique quickly overcomes her guards and goes off to make plans with Pyro, who is dying of the Legacy Virus.
Jamie explains: after the death of his infected dupe, he lost his memory and wandered until taken by the government to be trained as a one-man army. Then Havok helped him escape and asked him to join the Brotherhood, all creepy-like. He declined, ran, and got captured by X-Factor (last iss.). He doesn't like the new team or their role as government hounds.
Val sends X-Factor to retrieve Mystique, and they learn she is going after Graydon (her son by Sabretooth and current anti-mutant presidential candidate).
