Summary

  Bastion returns to a remote military outpost, learns that Operation: Zero Tolerance is in progress, and orders the hounds released. He learns that the "sleeper" hound, Sabretooth, is missing, and demands they find him.

  Sabretooth uses pills to increase his tolerance for pain and gets his collar off.

  Gray, a government agent who disagrees with the persecution of mutants, warns Val that Sabretooth is a plant. She races to Falls Edge.

  Mystique impersonates Aurora to drive Kyle nuts. Forge berates her, then kisses her, then has second thoughts. Polaris and Shard work out and female-bond.

  Kyle goes to feed Sabretooth and finds his collar. Then he bleeds.

  Sabretooth goes after Polaris next; Shard intervenes and gets depixelated. Forge and Mystique are quickly felled, as is Kyle for a second time.

  Val arrives to find her team, bloodied and blaming her, and Sabretooth on the loose.
