Summary

  Forge, Alex, and the Pentagon files are unable to convince Lorna that Haven is a terrorist. She notes that the government is capable of exaggeration and distortion.

  Random offers to help X-Factor find the people that paid him to kill Lorna. After a harsh exchange, Forge hires him to provide that information, plus assistance against Haven.

  Rahne, half-crazy because of her mutate bond to Alex, almost tries to kill him.

  Forge sends the team to arrest Haven, but they are confronted by Monsoon, and Random starts a fight. Haven calls a cease fire, and they all sit down to talk.

  Haven explains that she is causing disasters in order to end the current age and bring in the golden one. When Val supports this, Rahne nearly rips her throat out. Haven catches her, sends her through oblivion, and heals her. She can assume human shape, and her bond to Alex is gone. She decides to side with Haven.
