Summary

  Aboard Ship, X-Factor holds a training session with the New Mutants. Boom Boom has a crush on Cannonball, and Dani is not feeling well.

  In London, Phy abducts Thomas Jones, a boy with the ability to turn things into gold (or any other element). His mother calls on X-Factor for help. They take baby Christopher along and follow a trail of transmuted gold objects to the troll's lair under a bridge. They are defeated and bound with golden chains.

  Troll Associates has been established to destroy the economy by creating a glut of gold, and thereby regain control of England.
