Summary

  Jean is brought to the common ground for a prisoner exchange, and when she is released, she attacks as Phoenix and is again restrained.

  Seera frees herself and Warren, using her emerging telepathic power, and tells him of Bobby and Christopher. They are recaptured by Rask.

  Scott and the Beginagains plan to attack and free Jean but are blocked by Celestials who surround the Chosen city.

  Hank escapes the Reject prison and is attacked by Agrom until the giant hears that Warren is his friend. He plans to lead the Rejects against the Chosen city.

  Ship debates whether or not he should try to stop the Celestials' judgment of this planet
