Summary

  Nate has lost his telepathy, but kept his TK. He knows the X-Men were involved, so he takes off over the ocean from Ireland.

  Maddie pops in, having reincorporated herself after the psi-plane disaster (last iss.). They squabble, and an earthquake splits the ground beneath them. Nate telekinetically stops it before it hits the village of Clifden, but the pressure diverts into an avalanche. Maddie helps him smash falling rocks, then ports them into Clifden. Tech-Gnomes follow them.

  They dance with the locals at the pub, but a fire breaks out. Nate does an Ororo and summons a storm, then collapses.

  Tech-Gnomes have caused all these disasters, to test Nate. Ness shows up, and goes with Maddie to find Nate.
