Summary

  The Hand didn't start in feudal Japan but 4 billion years ago, and rumor has it their founders are still around. No one knows where they came from, but their mission is to dishonor God by destroying what He made: friends, enemies, everything. They train in a secret jungle city visible for 13 minutes each dawn; Logan killed 100 people to get the info, and he plans to kill more. The Hand prepares for his arrival.

  The Sentinel bursts through the wall, with Logan riding on its back. It was designed to kill X-Men, and Logan doesn't expect it to have trouble with some ninjas.

  Ninjas jump on it, swarming, mocking Logan for thinking he had a hope. To his surprise, their swords are sharp enough to pierce the Sentinel's armor, and it crashes.

  The ninjas don't make a sound as they land and are up in an instant. Logan attacks, and when archers shoot at him, he uses a dead ninja impaled on each hand as shields.

  Rikuto was 9 years old, 4'2", and had a child's hobbies and toys. He'd be alive and playing baseball if it weren't for the Hand and for Logan; he concentrates on that, slashing through the ninjas to the entrance of the city.

  The ninjas inside the hall stand at attention as he enters, welcomed by the masters. They know why he's here, and it amuses them; he demands to know where the Gorgon is, and he'll only burn the city to the ground. They're not impressed and tell him he'll find their former high priest in the death in cities and fear on every face. Elektra rises to the podium; since the Gorgon is now in charge of Hydra, she's been put through the rest of the training and leads the Hand. She'll rule from the East, as the Gorgon destroys from the West. They say she can execute him now.

  Elektra approaches, swords drawn, and though his psychic defenses mean she can't read his thoughts, she can speak to his mind, and she prepares to attack the masters with him. He's confused but does as told; on her mark they kill the masters and are immediately swarmed by ninjas. Logan says she's out of her mind, but she says he's enjoying this as much as she is. Sword, claw, and green blood follow.

  Afterwards, Logan questions Elektra; she says this is the second time the Hand resurrected her, and hell has few surprises. This was all a deep cover operation; Logan points out she helped crash the SHIELD helicarrier and kill 200 agents; she says it was deep cover. Now they've taken out the most dangerous assassins in the world, and she's learned the location of Hydra's 7 secret bases for building super-weapons. Logan calls SHIELD for pick-up.

  Fury is in a hospital bed when he hears the news, and he smiles. Elektra says next, they attack all 7 bases simultaneously. A SHIELD agent asks if Logan is okay; with Elektra at his side, he says he thinks he's in love.
