Summary

Red Ronin battles Fin Fang Foom, hoping to stall till Krakoa arrives, but Clarice contacts Heather, who researches the dragon and sees it's never been out-right defeated on other worlds.

Heather calls to Strange, to help research Chinese herbs that can put the dragon to sleep, but he's dead, and Deadpool shows up, shoots a bug, and then aims at her. She explains she can't transform to Sasquatch any more (iss. 58); he explains he has a powerful healing factor, which is why his neck isn't broken any more; she shows him the rest of the team is on a mission, and he takes her to start releasing other Weapon X members. He doesn't notice Beak, who orders one of the bugs to release Calvin, even though he's still injured.

Deadpool didn't trusted the Exiles when they first met (iss. 12), especially when Clarice made Creed go soft. Heather is distraught to find Strange dead; Deadpool is bothered to see Calvin freed, unconscious on the floor.

Fin Fang Foom has no equal in battle, and it starts tearing Red Ronin apart, so Clarice blinks the Science Squad to safety.

Heather check Calvin and says he'll die if he stays like this; he's in armored form, and she can't tell if he's dead already. Deadpool doesn't care and hands her the controls, ordering her to start defrosting his teammates, even though she can't be sure they won't be injured in the process.

Fin Fang Foom has plans for world conquest and blood sacrifice; Clarice is fed up following the Science Squad's lead and takes charge. She blinks up to talk to the dragon, claiming to be its fairy sidekick (godmothers, apparently, being out of vogue). She tells him of a challenge to its greatness: Krakoa, approaching on the horizon, and, gullible and egotistical, it flies off to battle.

Beak doesn't teleport the team back, since Deadpool would immediately kill Heather; a bug tells him Calvin's had a power surge, so he knows his plan is working. Heather has released She-Hulk, who's angry to learn there's no Timebroker and her world's really all right. Calvin groans; Deadpool's been near him long enough for him to mimic his healing factor, and when Heather tells him Deadpool killed strange, he armors up and pops claws. Deadpool asks She-Hulk to help him, but she says she's over this and grabs Deadpool, holding him upside down. She tells Calvin she can probably take him but instead wants to make a deal. She was a judge, and as close to legal justice as they have, so she's willing to "adjudicate" Deadpool's murder case, if Calvin agrees to send her home. He agrees; "by the power invested in me by the state of Texas" she slams Deadpool into the crystal wall, smushing him. Calvin and Heather are appalled, but she says he was guilty of many murders and demands they honor the deal.

Later, the team returns via the Excursion Platform; Heather got Connor's regenerative serum; Krakoa turned into a swarm of mini-monsters that ate Fin Fang Foom like piranha and then turned back into an island. Heather explains what happened on the Panoptichron, and Calvin shows up, alive but scarred by the side-effects of Deadpool's power. He thinks the next thing they should do is send Beak home to his family.
