Summary
Logan pays a visit to the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, where Generation X resides, to test the security files at the school as requested by Professor Xavier, with Banshee watching over. After he finishes, he and Jubilee takes a walk outside. The rest of Gen X, jealous of the attention Jubilee desired (and was getting) from Logan, attempts to attack Logan as a group, but Logan easily defeats them. Logan and Jubilee continues on their walk, only to have Gateway suddenly appear in front of them and he teleports LOgan and Jubilee to the Swiss Alps without any reason.
In this snowy surrounding stands a cabin in the middle of nowhere. The two enters the place to get out of the cold. Logan, on alert, senses something wasn't right, being that this was a house in the middle of nowhere. Looking around, he finds a picture of a woman whom Logan recognizes as an associate to Cable, and deduces that the house must be a hideaway for Cable.
Without any warning, an army of flying robots attack the two. The two fights off the robots. Jubilee is hit by a blast and is sent crashing through a wooden door into another room, where the two discovers Donald Pierce inside. Asked by Logan why Pierce was there, Pierce explains to him that he and Sebastian Shaw were battling Cable, who had thwarted their plans to exploit the powers of Apocalypse to their own uses, and he was left to die by Shaw after falling. Severely damaged, he was lucky to find a sky cycle abandoned by Cable, as well as this dwelling that Cable owned, which contained information and technology which could repair himself. While there, he found within Cable's database information that led him to a small hidden supply of adamantium. Please pities Logan for not having the adamantium anymore since he would've been a good first test for his new abilities. Logan says he didn't need adamantium to beat Pierce, and after Pierce orders his minions to kill Jubilee, Logan attacks.
Their fight takes them outside, where Pierce seemingly gets an upper hand, bragging that he's invincible now that he had the adamantium-enhanced cybernetic form and Cable's technology. But, out of nowhere, an army of robots, headed by a cyborg named Khyber, shows up, claiming Pierce was using his hardware to rebuild himself. He orders his robots to destroy the house, and proceeds to fight with Pierce. Logan, not caring much for this fight, suddenly realizes Jubilee was still in the house, and rushes back to save her before Khyber's robots destroys the home. Logan manages to save her before the entire house was destroyed. Outside, Khyber had defeated Pierce, and after warning Logan that they would have to "settle up some other time", he teleports away. Logan and Jubilee now waits to be picked up by Gateway, the two wondering whether Gateway sent them here to stop Pierce or whether it involved Khyber.
