Summary
While getting away, the car that Logan, Puck, Inez, and Hemingway were in suffers brake failure, and their car crashes into a building. They are under attack by the soldiers. Faced with no weapons, Logan runs out, grabs a hammer and an adjustable wrench, and beats the crap out of the soldiers there savagely.
Logan rejoins the group, now armed with his own machine gun. They all decide to head to the camp of the partisans which was in the mountains, and since they were without a vehicle, they will have to get there by foot.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Guernica, Captain Schlachter hangs Lady Deathstrike. But Lady Deathstrike doesn't die (for she is, after all, a cyborg). Back in Australia (present time), where Pierce was, a sudden tornado attacks them. He and his men realizes that Deathstrike was altering the time line, and that if she does so, they might cease to exist.
Back in the past, Logan and his men had arrived at the partisan camp, where they meet Blair, Vincente, and the German captive Broica. They said their camp had been under attack, and those three were the only ones left. Back in Guernica, Lady Deathstrike had made her proposition to Captain Schlachter, about how she could help them win the war by offering an army of supersoldiers that her father can create if he doesn't die in this year when he commits kamikaze. After finding the car that they were in, Deathstrike, Schlachter, and his men begins to follow the trail that Logan and the others had taken.
Back in the mountains, Logan and the rest are attacked by a lone German aircraft, and are placed under fire. But Logan uses his gun and takes out the plane's engine. Puck is hurt, so they had to seek immediate medical attention. After threatening the young German captive a few times, they managed to get him to swear on his mother's honor and his life that he wouldn't reveal where they were going. They let him go, since he would have been trouble to have either way. The young soldier encounters Deathstrike and Capt. Schlachter. He tells them that he swore not to tell them what pass that Logan and his allies had chosen to pass over, but Deathstrike manages to torment him enough to the point where he spilled out the facts. They give chase.
As they passed through the mountain, they realized that they were being chased now. Logan tells them to go ahead. He gets into his Wolverine outfit, and armed with his claws, he begins his assult on Schlachter. Lady Deathstrike enters the fight, and a one-on-one against Wolverine is very likely.
