Summary

In Salem Center back in New York, Wolverine had obtained the help of Forge to examine Elsie Dee as to her legality. Forge is extremely worried about Elsie Dee's condition since her detonation program was put on hold, and she had a lot of C-13 explosives that constituted her body. Forge tells Logan that there is no way in disarming the explosives on her.

Back in Venice, the FBI were being led by the Venice police department into their holding cell where they had stored Albert in a storage room. Upon opening the room, they discovered that Albert had used their equipment in the storage room and had upgraded himself, even though he looked more like a patchwork than an android right now. After escaping (and freeing Sally and his men from prison), he sets off to find Elsie Dee, for he realized that the only way to disarm her is to kill Logan. He heads to Palmdale.

Back in New York, Logan, Forge, Jubilee, and Elsie Dee were having lunch at a roadside diner. Jubilee still didn't like Elsie Dee because she was not real, but merely, an android.

At Palmdale, Albert had broken into the Northrup plant there and steals a B2-Stealth bomber to fly across country to locate Elsie Dee. While he is doing this, in New York City's Bronx, Wolverine and the rest of the gang were playing a game of pool at a pool parlor when a fuse blows out in the building after Elsie Dee attempts to recharge herself from a common socket. When she did that, she picked up a message from Albert who was coming. Needing a stronger reception point, she brings Logan with her to the top of the World Trade Center.

As she communicates with Albert from that vantage point, Albert deceives them into looking the wrong way. Using the Stealth bomber, he rams the plane into Logan, but Logan doesn't die. Both fight on top of the stealth. Elsie Dee steps in to stop the fight. She yells at Albert for being a dummy since she didn't need to be rescued anymore because her program had been put on hold, which meant Albert was free to do whatever he wanted. Next thing they knew, they were under attack by a few fighter planes (which had managed to locate the Stealth bomber after Albert had activated the radar system on it). Elsie Dee ejects Logan from the ejection seat on the plane right before the Stealth crashes into Hudson Bay, taking with it Albert and Elsie Dee.
