Summary
Down in the basement, where Sabretooth is being held by John Wraith, Wolverine and Sabretooth immediately begins to square it off against each other because of their hatred for each other. The two stops only when Silver Fox walks in. This stuns Wolverine, because he had believed that she was dead, as well as Sabretooth, because he had believed that he had killed her in the past. Silver Fox blasts Sabretooth because of how he said he thought he had killed her, and threatens to blast both Wolverine and Wraith, who can't escape because she has a energy field disruptor surrounding the house that would prevent him from teleporting.
Outside, Silver Fox tells them how she has been using Hydra to obtain more info about the Weapon X project, as well as capturing Hines, who had worked at the Weapon X project and has an untampered memory. At first, Hines refuses to help, claiming that she had signed documents that prevents her from saying anything, until suddenly, Mastodon begins to melt in Jubilee's hands, which grosses Jubilee out. Obtaining the help from Ornette Higgen-Botham, Wraith's neighbor's son, who is a master hacker, they break into the national security agency's computer and manages to obtain a list of names of those who participated in the program. Two names are unknown on the list: Vole and Wildcat. In another list, for those who worked at the project, the name Ferro pops up, who they did not know about. They manage to find where this Ferro is located, and leaves for his castle, which is on an island.
Near Ferro's island, the HYDRA ship they were on is shot down by a surface-to-air missle. They escape injuries. Some soldiers tries to apprehend them, but Jubilee takes out their night vision with her mutant light blast while Wolverine and Sabretooth easily takes them out. In the castle, they met no resistance, and found a heavily-muscular man who they thought was Ferro's bodyguard. Instead, the man tells them he was Il Topo (Ferro's identity), which shocks them because they thought Ferro was supposed to be an old guy. But they also encounter Maverick, who was actually Il Topo's bodyguard.
