Summary

  Somewhere in Egypt, Cyber is put to the test against a robotic Wolverine while Genesis and his Dark Riders are testing out to see whether Cyber's adamantium is pure. Genesis still has no idea that it is his adamantium skin that they want and not Cyber himself.

  Meanwhile, in Manhattan, Logan takes a stoll through the busy night streets while Guardian and Vindicator keeps an eye on him to make sure that Logan doesn't hurt anyone. Logan walks by this big thug named Dirt Nap who tries to get him to come with him, but Logan shrugs him off. When Dirt Nap tries to con this kid into believing that he had some computers to sell for a very small amount of money, Logan backtracks and tells Dirt Nap to leave the kid alone. Just when he unleashes his claws to threaten Dirt Nap, Guardian leaps into action and takes down Logan, allowing Dirt Nap to escape. Vindicator tries to calm Logan down, but Logan keeps insisting that there was something about Dirt Nap that wasn't right. The Hudsons would not believe him, and takes him over to a local coffee shop where the three can talk.

  In Washington, D.C., Senator Kelly is handed a copy of the Washington Post where it reports that Grayton Creed was running for president. While he talks with a newspaper reporter on the phone, one of his staffmember receives a call from Expediter. (We now know that this person who has been with Expediter the last few issues works for Sen. Kelly). She tells him how they had sent the kidnapper out too early to capture Logan, but they would still rendevous in the Canadian Rockies.

  In a corner coffee shop, Vindicator, Gladiator, and Logan are having coffee before Logan senses something wrong outside. He notices that it was the boy who Dirt Nap had tried to con, but this time, the boy had Dirt Nap's scent on him. The next thing he knows, Dirt Nap consumes Logan. Vindicator and Guardian have no idea what Dirt Nap was, but Dirt Nap assumed the form of Logan. Unfortunately, to Dirt Nap's surprise, he was unable to digest Logan due to Logan's healing factor. To escape, Dirt Nap absorbs a rat, and runs off in the sewer, daring Logan to chase him since he still had the kid's genes in his possession..

  Vindicator tells Logan how sorry she was that she didn't believe him. Guardian offers Logan to come with them to help him fight his regression, but Logan walks away, telling them that he was actually liking his wild side take over.
