Summary

More or less another one of those issue which reveals a little bit more about Wolverine. Wolverine and Elektra take a trip up to Canada where Logan, close to regaining his humanity but not entirely, pays a visit to the log cabin where he lived with Silver Fox. Logan reveals to Elektra that when time was up for him, he had asked Nick Fury and John Wriath to bury him here, where he had been truly happy and had called the place home. He then talks about his other old flames briefly, even though most turned out to be failure, but admits that he isn't afraid to love again.

The second part of this story has Elektra taking Logan to visit her homeland: Greece. Upon arrival, the bodyguard of her father, Athos, admitted to her that he had failed in protecting him. Elektra forgives him, and everything is ok between them.

During a little snack Logan and Elektra had with her family on the terrace, Starvos begins to talk about how he knew of a man from Canada once during WWII. Starvos said that the man he knew looked nothing like Logan, and was better looking. During the war, a SS killed his mother. Wanting revenge, Starvos was prepared to use a gun to kill the man who had done it. The Canadian convinced him not to do it, and instead, gave Starvos a big knife to use. The Canadian and Starvos went looking for the guy in the SS compound, but discovered he wasn't there. Starvos had kept the knife, though, and still had it with him. Logan asks Starvos if he remembered the Corporal's name. Starvos said that all they called him was "Canada".

Starvos reveals to Elektra that of the six men they had caught who had killed his father, they still held one as captive while the rest either died or was paroled. Elektra told him to let the last captive go, saying that she was finished with committing vengence.

Later on that night, Starvos, Athos, and another man went to release Sawyer. Sawyer thinks he was going to kill him with a knife, but instead, the daggar was used to cut the ropes. Once outside, Sawyer encounters Logan, and asks him to call the police. Logan threatens Sawyer with his claws, warning him to get lost or he would "track you down like a dog..." Elektra shows up and asks where Starvos was. Logan guesses he was reading a book. Elektra reveals that Starvos never learned to read because he was six. Because of that, he never learned to read what was enscribed on the sheath of the knife.
