Summary
During the Dark Ages, the Black Knight imprisoned Exodus in a tomb in Switzerland (see Black Knight: Exodus, Dec-96). In the present, he has returned there to recuperate.
Cable goes to find Nate Grey, and their proximity makes their minds blur together. Cable's T-O virus gets out of his control, and he sees the AOA Cyclops. Nate sees Redd and Slym, who raised Cable.
Nate says "stop," and even the snow and the birds around him are held still. Threnody gets him up again, and they keep moving.
Cable trails them; Blaquesmith appears to fix the damage done to the psionic plane. He says Nate Grey should not exist, and jeopardizes everything Cable has worked for.
Nate finds Cable's safe house, near where he first fell to earth (X-Man 5). Cable arrives, and Nate immediately attacks him.
Outside, Exodus has been drawn to all this excess psionic energy. Blaquesmith enters to warn them, but Nate takes this as an attack, too. Cable tries to explain that he wants to help, but Nate won't listen, and explodes the house with a thought. All are scattered, and Exodus finds Nate.
Note: Blaquesmith's summary of Cable's history part 1 follows.
