Summary

  Calvin uses the powers of Colossus, Wolverine, and Cyclops to defeat the Doombots; he is a superhero, and they all get off on a good fight, especially robots you can cut loose on. (Note: he appears to give himself a "fastball special".) Then Namor confronts him.

  The rest of the team isn't faring well; Doom didn't tell them how many Atlanteans there were, and they are furious at him.

  Calvin gets punched out of the castle; when he lands he tries to reason with Namor, but he is only interested in killing. So Calvin uses Quicksilver's power to get away, not really caring if Namor or Doom controls this world, but just wanting to finish the mission. He destroys the equipment, and Namor throws him down to the cellars, but he blasts the nearby petrol tanks; the heat evaporates Namor's strength, and Calvin whales on him. He's sick of worlds where his friends and heroes have been corrupted by power, and he doesn't care anymore.

  The Atlanteans are defeated after the force field frees the Latverians; Calvin walks back to the team, in steel form and red hot, so he's too heavy to fly. Clarice asks if he's okay, and he stalks past her, claiming to be fine.
