Summary

  Cable eludes the Acolytes and makes his way to the central command of Magneto's arctic base. He realizes the whole base is techno-organic, and he can control it mentally. He starts picking off the Acolytes one by one, until felled by Cargill and a Kleinstock. Omega Red is planning to release his virus and kill all humanity; the Acolytes want to escape to Avalon; Amelia mists away with Cable to stop Omega Red.

  Colossus fights Cable, saying Xavier's dream is a farce. Cable says he's just hiding in his metal shell because his sister died. He uses TK to force him back to human form and knocks him out.

  Omega Red bests Amelia and Cable, but then Katu grabs him. He wants to port with him into space, but Cable overrides the command, so Katu turns his power inward, imploding them both.

  In Florida, Senyaka kills one of Forrester's crew.
