Summary

  Senyaka has killed Forrester's crew and attacks her; she shoots him with a flare gun and lands in the marsh. Cable rescues her before she drowns (he intercepted a distress signal she sent to the X-Men). Senyaka wants to kill her because she was briefly Magento's girlfriend (Uncanny 148ff), and Magneto tried to kill him (Uncanny 304).

  Cable is about to kill him, when he lashes out with psionic energy and fells him. Senyaka is about to kill him, when Forrester lashes out with a log and fells him.

  Cable and Forrester trudge through the Everglades, communications down, and compare impressions of Magneto. Senyaka attacks again and accuses Cable of being nothing without his guns, so Cable uses his mutant TK to throttle him with his own whip.
