Summary
Cable has gone to Beast for help against his T-O virus (not knowing it is really Dark Beast, see X-Men Unlimited 11).
Storm asks Cable to probe her mind for information on Post, but he has masked his trail. There is, however, a familiar telepathic "echo."
Domino tells him that Blaquesmith's freighter blew up (last iss.), so he goes to Baltimore. He finds the same traces of a familiar mind.
Flashback: The Mandarin is extracting the x-factor from Tremain, so he can build a super-human army. Cable and Bridge drop in and break things up. Cable uses his telepathy and TK to save Tremain's life. He gives him a transfusion of his own blood, not knowing what the T-O virus will do to him.
Tremain has become Post, herald of Onslaught, and pounds Cable. Cable figures out who Onslaught is, but is too weak to warn the X-Men. Post chooses not to kill him, because he and Onslaught are convinced he is no further threat.
