Summary

  On the astral plane, Madelyne has her boy in a cage and introduces herself, alive from the dead (X-Factor 38, X-Man 5, 26).

  In Westchester, Jean and Scott are concerned because Cable is meditating, and his mind and body have frozen in place.

  Maddie takes Cable on a tour of her life: Sinister's London lab (he kills an illusory monster to save her); Sinister's Nebraska lab where he made her; her and Scott's cabin in Alaska (where she was deserted); the Empire State Building (where she died as a villain). She to ally with him, destroy all mutants and rule the world, but he (a mutant) has other goals and refuses. But he makes the cabin neutral territory, if she wants to meet with him.

  Jean helps Cable come out of his trance; they and Scott plan to befriend Maddie if they can.

  In Switzerland, an Askani offers to ally with Shaw.
