Summary

  Irene regrets her life as a tabloid reporter and wishes she could work at the Daily Bugle. Mullins, her editor, assigns her to find a scandal on Shaw. All her regular sources feign ignorance, and there is very little public record of the man. Billings, a caterer, overheard Shaw talking to Pierce about a "club" and an "operation" and "hitting Cable."

  Billings and the tabloid staff are all killed, and Hellfire Club goons attack Irene and explode her car, but at the last minute Cable arrives, beats back the goons, and asks her why they attacked her.
