Summary

  Present: Cable rescues Blaquesmith from ruins.

  Past: Cable returns to Stacey's diner for coffee and conversation.

  Recent Past: Cable fist-fights Rama-Tut as the walls cave in.

  Present: Cable's escape is blocked by the time distortion field, now grown large.

  Past: Blaquesmith projects his mind to Cable and Irene, and Cable comes to his rescue in Egypt, where Rama-Tut has been holding him captive and torturing him. He wants him to repair his time machine, but Blaquesmith says it is impossible. Cable fights his way through a time distortion field and attacks. Just then, Psylocke triggers a distortion on the psi-plane (see X-Men II:77) which fells Cable and blocks his psi powers. Cable recovers, grabs Rama-Tut's Ultra-Diode ray gun and shoots him, grabs Blaquesmith and escapes through the time distortion field.
