Summary

  Cable's psi powers are nearly gone, and his t-o virus is spreading internally. Blaquesmith sends him to "the 12" (the Dodecanese Islands in Greece) to retrieve his psimitar, a psi-focusing weapon from his youth, which Ch'vayre had placed there with his disciples. They attack him until they realize he is the Chosen, and then worship him. He rejects them as disciples and tells them to get a life. Caesar, angry, vows to kill him.

  Aboard their helicarrier, SHIELD covertly reviews Cable's history (iss. 22, 32, 34, 56, X-Force 20, 21, 55). Quatermain and Waters plan to keep Bridge out of the way and send Agent 18 to catch Cable. They want to use his t-o in Belgrade's Nemesis Program.
