Summary

  Irene watches Cable train and sees he is off, because of the t-o virus, which Blaquesmith says is growing exponentially.

  Truman vacations in Africa and stupidly gets too close to a bull elephant. He uses his .45 to put it down. Gerard finds him and gives him an assignment: Cable. He meets Bridge at the battle site in Switzerland (see iss. 53). Bridge meets Fury on the helicarrier and learns he has been transferred to DC.

  Truman realizes Cable isn't a terrorist but a hero, but continues to track him in New York. He uses Zzzax to flush him out.

  Cable goes into Stacey's diner and meets her nephew Kenny, who has Down's syndrome. He agrees with her that people foolishly fear and hate what they don't understand. He sees on the tv news that Zzzax is rampaging and goes to stop it, using a water main to short it out. Then Truman moves in for the kill.
