Summary

  X-Factor flees from the hotel where they were defeated by the Alliance.

  The Alliance interrogate Michael to reveal the connection between the mutants and X-Factor, and he amplifies their powers, making them go haywire.

  Apocalypse commands they end the interrogation and attaches Michael to a machine that keeps him doped-up until needed.

  X-Factor attacks, Susan is killed, and Michael self-destructs in order to stop aiding the Alliance.

  During the fight, Jean is surrounded by the Phoenix effect, but only Scott notices.
