Summary
Returning from San Diego and dressed as super-heroes because their X-Factor uniforms were destroyed by Michael Nowlan, the team must sneak aboard their own plane.
Tower, in custody, is interviewed on TV and links X-Factor to the mutant team, inciting a demonstration at X-Factor HQ in New York.
Scott had accidentally called Jean "Maddie," prompting her to question the other members of the team while playing "tag" in the workout room. Just as Scott decides to fess up, Jean guesses he is married, and she runs off.
In a toxic dump in New Jersey, Glow Worm and Bulk hide from amateur mutant hunters. They meet Skids in the Morlock tunnels and then attack the X-Factor building. Scott, Hank, and Bobby pretend to help them as fellow-mutants, while really stopping them. Warren, Jean, Rusty, Cameron, and Vera dress in X-Factor uniforms and drive them all away.
Scott, Hank, and Bobby join Glow Worm and Bulk down their "bolt hole" but leave when they realize they cannot help them further.
