Summary

  Xavier enters Legion's mind in an attempt to repair the damage done by the Shadow King, but fails.

  Wolverine and Scott bicker. It is revealed that Val shot herself because the Shadow King was trying to force her to kill Mystique, who then took her place to defeat the villain. Mystique and Rogue; Wolverine and Jubilee; Polaris and Guide have heart-to-hearts. Xavier learns that he is again indefinitely wheelchair-bound.

  Hank, Val, and Xavier each try to figure out how to reorganize the X-teams.
