Summary

  Note: This is the beginning of a new team, concurrent with the reorganization of all the X-teams.

  Lorna tells Guido her fears about being teamed with Alex, her erstwhile lover. Guido flirts with her.

  Val goes to Genosha to convince Alex to lead the new team, but fails even after standing under a falling girder. Xavier arrives with Scott, lectures Alex, and tells him Lorna will be on the team. That changes his mind, and he flies back to Washington, taking Rahne with him.

  Pietro gets Lockjaw to transport him down from the Blue Area of the moon, defuses a terrorist bomb, and announces his power is making him age. He joins the team, wanting help in tracking down the evil individual who did this to him. (How the postcard from the evil individual reached the moon is not elaborated.)

  Jamie plays a practical joke: an un-open-able mayo jar. He is hit in the gut with a shotgun blast, crashes through his window, and falls many stories to the ground.
